well done lads. Best of luck!
I also qualified for the regional finals, but it's on Easter Saturday and I'll be off with the family out of town. I did however win the venue I regularly play at, which qualified me for the State Champs, and scored me $1000 as well. The state champs in NSW has $30,000 in cash and 6 tickets to the WT TOC up for grabs, so I'm quite excited about the possibilities.

Hey Guys. Thanks for that. It should be good fun. I think there are far better players there with a lot more skill who will beat (well, I can't speak for Bash, but will beat me) us. So, hopefully, we'll be able to put in a good showing anyway and have some fun.
Threeps, $1000 bucks for venue leader ... that's awesome. I don't think they are paying anything in Victoria at APL for venue leader. Looks like we might have to move.

One venue here pays $1000, $500, $250 for the top three players for the venue leaderboard. They hold comps on three different nights, so giving away a total of $5250 to the poker players around Nowra. The other venues in the area don't have venue leader prizes.

Victoria completely sucks. The government won't allow anything like that because they can't get their fair share out of it. Bloody government trying to get their fingers in to everything.
